Carroll was born in Northport, NE, on September 9, 1940. Carroll achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and later on became a Registered Nurse.

Carroll was a proactive member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bridgeport, where he loved to play the piano. Carroll loved gardening, being outside with his grandkids, card

games, and making crepes on the weekends.

Carroll was always on the go, whether it was chopping wood for his fireplace, watching the grandkids’ many sports games, or attending church and bible study. His love for adventure was immense, from exploring national parks to attempting to catch bullfrogs.There was never a day he wouldn’t sit on the front porch overlooking the lake watching the geese fly in and out. Carroll was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and godfather. His presence brought joy to many.With his words of wisdom and religion he brought faith and knowledge to many individuals.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bertha Mount, his wife Shirley Mount, and his sister Kathleen.

He is survived by his sister Eileen (Leon) Stephan; children, Carmen (Andy) Benavides, Craig (Sherry) Mount, and Curt (Laura) Mount; grandchildren, Karissa Benavides, Casey Benavides,Trevor Benavides, Shawna Gerwitz; godchildren Karlee Muth and Molly Muth.
