Twilla was born January 31, 1945, to Charlie and Marion (Kirchhoff) Bowers in Angora, NE. She was the youngest of 4. On May 29, 1969, she married James L. Sinks, and the couple had three sons: Randy, Rick, and Jim C.

Twilla enjoyed gardening, canning, puzzles, cards with family, and root beer candies, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Twilla is survived by her sons, Rick (April Gleason) and Jim C., and daughter-in-law Deb Sinks; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister Bonita Case, and various nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; her brothers, Stan and Ike (Dallas) Bowers; husband Jim; son Randy and his first wife, Terri; grandsons Punky (Rick-Lee) and Baby Jimmy; and great-grandsons Zeek and Ashton.
