Services will be held at a later date in Nebraska; Gillette Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Dean was born on January 27, 1959, in Scottsbluff, NE, to Orval Emil and Irma Irene Allen, one of four children. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1977.

Dean was a farmer at the 77 Ranch in Harrison, NE, from 1996-2024. His interests included golfing, hunting, fishing and camping.

Dean is survived by his children, Dustin Marx and Kendra Marx; grandchildren, Jayden Marx and Logan Glaze; and brothers Grant Marx and Brian Marx.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lisa Biberos.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bridgeport Church of Christ, officiated by Pastor Jonathan Seng, December 14 at 2:00 p.m.
