After high school, he worked alongside his parents as a custodian at Bridgeport Public Schools for many years. He had a lot of pride in the school and remained the biggest Bridgeport Bulldog fan for his entire life. He was a loving son and spent many years as the primary caregiver for his mother until she passed away in 2016.

He loved baseball, the Dallas Cowboys, Creighton basketball, and the Bridgeport Bulldogs especially. He was a creature of habit.You’d find him working out or shooting hoops at the community center, cruising Main Street in his blue minivan, or sitting in the front row of a Bridgeport Bulldog sporting event. He lived simply. He was quiet. He was kind. He was honest and humble. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; sister, Mary Lou Sell; and brothers-in-law, Melvin Sell and Otto Jahns.

Robert is survived by his brothers, Paul (Goldie) Muzquiz and Dave (Delores) Muzquiz of Bridgeport, NE; Daniel (Sherron) Muzquiz of Belgrade, MT; sisters, Joan (Clyde) Blue of Scottsbluff, NE, Barb Jahns of Greeley, CO, Jeannie (Seturnino) Franco of Papillion, NE; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
