Irene was born to Arnold and Mabel Stuart on November 7, 1952, in Bridgeport, NE. She was a devoted daughter to her mom, as her dad had passed away at a young age. She went to schools in Bridgeport and Bayard, graduating from Bridgeport High School.

Irene was a hard worker in her lifetime. She worked at the family farm, feedlot, B-N Railroad, and at Morrill County Community Hospital as Head of Housekeeping until she retired.

Irene took life head-on in her own way. She was willing to help anyone, as she had a loving heart. It was hard for her to ask for help, but she always appreciated anything you did for her.There was always a “thank

you” for your assistance.

She loved to hunt, fish, and arrowhead hunt with her best friend Terri Hoskins, and spend time with her nieces and nephews.You could always see “Doc,” her dog and best buddy, riding with her on the ATV or in her tracker enjoying life.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother; brothers Roy and Bill Stuart; sisters Claire Muhr and Ilene Stuart; brother-in-law Terry Muhr and sister-in-law Mary Stuart.

She is survived by her sister Carol (Mark) Swires; sisterin- law Ardis Stuart and many nieces and nephews.
