Nancy Coulter Myers, 91

She graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1952, and earned a BA in History from the University of Nebraska in 1956.
Nancy married Richard R. Myers of Alliance, NE, in 1956, and they had three children, Richard, Ann, and Scott.
After a divorce, she went back to school to obtain teacher certification from Colorado University, and then perfected her craft as a 3rd grade teacher in the St.Vrain Public School District near Denver, where she served as a mentor to many.
She later married Ben Younglove of Boulder, CO, considered by her family to be the best thing that ever happened to Nancy.
Nancy loved to learn and enjoyed a close group of friends. She was active in her hiking group, the Day Trippers group, two book clubs, the Ramblin’ Rose Red Hat group, and she joined a mahjong group at 80. She carefully studied the history and culture of each of the many countries to which she traveled.
Nancy was proceeded in death by her parents; her daughter, Ann Myers; and her brother, Calvin Coulter.
She is survived by her husband, Ben; her sons, Richard and Scott Myers; her sister, Madelyn Anderson; her stepson, Bruce (Fancy) Younglove, and their children, David and Katie.
She leaves behind a devoted group of friends. A Celebration of Life was held April 5 at the Izaak Walton Clubhouse in Longmont.
Memorials can be made in Nancy’s name to the Lafayette Library Foundation, 775 West Baseline Road, Lafayette, CO, 80026; or to donor’s choice.
