She was born January 25, 1991, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Jo Anne Craig. She spent her “growing up years” with her grandparents, Gary and Sherry Craig.

Halley was homeschooled and attended Southeast High School inYoder,Wyoming. After earning her GED, Halley went on to become a licensed dental assistant, working in Wyoming and Colorado.

She was always a free spirit.

Halley especially loved sitting in the sunshine and fresh air on the bank of a good fishing hole, catching “brookies.”

Halley is survived by her daughter, Delaynie Hort; her mother, Jo Anne Craig; her grandmother, Sherry Craig; aunts and uncles, Kris (Jeff) Tvrs, Cindy (Don) Lemmon, Jeff (Mimi) Feagler, Justin (Jodi) Craig, Samantha Craig, Casey (Eric) Hansen, and Nathan Craig; and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Gary Craig, and great-grandparents, Rudy and Elsie Wacker.

Memorial services are pending for a later date. Memorials in Halley’s name may be sent in care of her grandmother, Sherry Craig, 616 State Street, Dalton, Nebraska, 69131, and will be used for her daughter’s education. Online condolences may be left at www.batesgould.com.
