For Earth Day the residents at Skyview planted flowers in the planters in the courtyard. So much fun was had getting our hands in the dirt!

Jordan Wagner will compete in the 77th Annual Miss South Dakota Scholarship Competition May 30th through June 1st atThe Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center in Brookings, SD. Wagner is originally from Bridgeport, NE, daughter of Brad & Alecia Wagner, and attends Paul MitchellThe School in Rapid City. She currently holds the title of Miss McCrory Gardens.Wagner is one of 20 delegates hoping to be crowned the next Miss South Dakota and compete in the Miss America competition in early 2025.

It proved to be an impressive finish to the track and field season for Bridgeport and Leyton athletes competing at the Nebraska state meets in Omaha last weekend.The small, but mighty, contingent from the Panhandle managed to bring home medals in five different events.

The Bridgeport Board of Education held their regular meeting on May 13th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library.

Lila McLaughlin of Dalton has been selected to attend American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State June 2-8, 2024, on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. McLaughlin was selected based on her application, scholarship, and interview with Mintken Davison American Legion Auxiliary Unit 301.
