Instead of a traditional funeral service, Mark’s wish was for friends, family, and his network of hunters to gather at the lodge that was recently completed for his business, Goose Down Outfitters.

The Bridgeport boys golf team wrapped up the season with a 10th-place finish at the Class D state tournament held last week at North Platte’s Lake Maloney Golf Course. Bridgeport, which won the D-5 district title to qualify for state, finished state play with a two-day total of 716.The Bulldogs shot a 355 on the first day and concluded action with a 361 on the final day.
