All A’s 12th Grade

The Bridgeport track and field teams enjoyed plenty of success at the season-opening Morrill Early Bird Invitational held Saturday in Morrill.

Bridgeport eighth grader Elizabeth Menke wrestled for the Bayard Wrestling Club at the 2024 Nebraska USA State Championship in Grand Island.

National Poison Prevention Week (NPPW) is the third full week in March and is dedicated to raising awareness and educating the public about the dangers of poisoning.The Nebraska Poison Center (NPC) joins with the nation’s fifty-four other poison centers celebrating Poison Prevention Week. The Morrill County Commissioners discussed the need to sell a vacant lot in Northport to an interested party. The claims were approved except payment to the county weed supervisor, Cody Renkoski due to his lack of certification.
