The Bridgeport Board of Education held their regular meeting on May 13th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library.

Lila McLaughlin of Dalton has been selected to attend American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State June 2-8, 2024, on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. McLaughlin was selected based on her application, scholarship, and interview with Mintken Davison American Legion Auxiliary Unit 301.

Morrill County and the state of Nebraska held their Primary Election onTuesday, May 13.With the unofficial results in, 1,143 Republicans, 129 Democrats, 6 Libertarians, 1 legal marijuana NOW, and 57 Nonpartisans, for a total of 1,336 citizens in Morrill County, took part in this primary election.
