The March Consumer Price Index, a key inflation indicator, showed a five percent inflation rate, with overall food prices up 8.5 percent over March of last year. As the historic purchase of a portion of the fairgrounds becomes a reality, the Morrill County Fair Board is hoping to have blueprints drawn up and on display at this year’s county fair.The hope is to show the future plans of those seven acres, as was reported at Tuesday morning’s commissioner’s meeting.
