Doane University held its 30th annual Fall Festival of Winds concert on Saturday afternoon, November 4, inside Heckman Auditorium in Crete. Fall ReTree Planting program brings more trees to Bridgeport
Thanks to the Free Trees for Fall ReTree Planting program, an effort of the Nebraska Forest Service and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, the community of Bridgeport received 10 trees again this fall for the ReTree Bridgeport project. Bridgeport alum Shawn Teppert, a 2022 graduate, has earned his American FFA Degree, the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization. According to their website, the American FFA Degree “Shows an FFA member’s dedication to his or her chapter and state FFA Association. It demonstrates the effort FFA members apply toward their supervised agricultural experience and the outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement they exhibited through their FFA career.
