Fall ReTree Planting program brings more trees to Bridgeport
Thanks to the Free Trees for Fall ReTree Planting program, an effort of the Nebraska Forest Service and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, the community of Bridgeport received 10 trees again this fall for the ReTree Bridgeport project. Each year, the City of Bridgeport strives to plant additional trees to help promote the value of healthy trees for a healthy community.We are so thankful for the benefit of receiving these quality trees at no cost through this grant program. 11/09/2023 03:00 AM

Bridgeport alum Shawn Teppert, a 2022 graduate, has earned his American FFA Degree, the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization. According to their website, the American FFA Degree “Shows an FFA member’s dedication to his or her chapter and state FFA Association. It demonstrates the effort FFA members apply toward their supervised agricultural experience and the outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement they exhibited through their FFA career. Morrill County receives dividend check
LINCOLN—Morrill County has received another membership dividend, this time in the amount of $5,814, from the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association II (NIRMA II), the county’s workers’ compensation coverage and risk management services provider.
