The Bridgeport Board of Education held their regular meeting on February 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library. All board members were present, and by a vote of 6-0, the consent agenda which included the approval of minutes, financial reports, bill and payroll. Demi Lapaseotes made a presentation for FFA while Sharon Endorf presented for NASB.The collective bargaining agreement with the BEA for the 2024-25 school year was considered and approved.This represents a 4.8% increase on the base plus the cash-in-lieu amount.The board considered and approved offering a contract to Derrick Wells to teach Elementary PE for the 20242025 school year. 02/15/2024 03:00 AM

A proposal to modify Bridgeport city code was considered by the city council Tuesday evening on first reading.
